My name is Brenda, and I am raising funds for my sister, Emma Ramirez, who was recently diagnosed with CLL (Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia). After battling health issues for over a year and being told it was a bad form of anemia, we have all been blindsided by this diagnosis!

Due to the constant need for blood and iron transfusions and the lack of white blood cells, she is always sick, leaving her with no energy while still trying to hold down a full-time job. Continuing to have to miss work for illness or appointments has really taken a toll on her family’s finances and also her mental health. On top of that, she is losing her insurance, which means lots of out of pocket costs for treatment.

My sister is the type to give anything to anyone in need, and I ask you to find it in your heart to help her just a little bit so that she doesn’t have to worry about losing her job or making ends meet when she needs to be worrying about trying to heal. She said no for me to even do this for her, but we all need help sometimes, and she never asks for anything from anybody, so I’m putting my best effort into helping keep her alive.
