Emma, who is only 16, is my best friend's daughter. She was recently diagnosed at stage 3 with a rare type of ovarian cancer. This virtually never happens in her age group, and unfortunately, she has a long, difficult road ahead of treatment and recovery. She already has endured 2 surgeries and will need chemotherapy. Words cannot express how devastating this diagnosis is to her family and friends.

Kristin, my life-long friend, is a single mom. She is taking a leave of absence from work to navigate this difficult time with Emma and her sister, Izzy. Please consider donating to help support this sweet, lovely family in Emma's fight and the associated medical costs. No amount is too small, and every donation is appreciated from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for your generosity!
