She and her family lost their beautiful home in Altadena a few days ago in the Eaton fire. Emily is an artist and had her entire studio full of decades of artwork in her backyard. Her home was full of collected works from many other artists and friends. Her two children, Benicio and Luiza, and her husband Alexandre all lived amongst her beautiful works. This family home was more than just a home (and of course it was that too), but it was also a precious collection of her life’s work.
