Support Emily Squire: Scammers are A$$holes

Hello beautiful friends, a member of

our community, Emily Squire, was recently the victim of an elaborate scam that ended up costing her $3k. The scammers called her, pretending to be representatives from the King County Sheriffs Department, using fear and authority to trick her into giving them money.

If you have the funds, please donate to help Emily recoup her losses; please also share this fundraiser to help raise awareness of these types of scams. This is proof that it can happen to anyone, and we can help to keep each other safe.

If you weren’t aware, Emily is an art teacher at Renton High School, as well as an incredibly gifted artist. She will also be selling some of her art in order to raise funds.

Emily has a BIG heart and is always so incredibly giving. This is an opportunity to return back the energy she is always giving out to her community
