<div>Hi! My name is Malin and I am Emil's younger sister who is also the one organizing this fundraiser We are raising funds for Emil, who is currently going through one of the toughest periods of his life.

<div>Emil has struggled with mental health issues since his teenage years, with dark thoughts and periods of intense restlessness and energy have alternated with deep depression, and for a long time he has not received the help and understanding he truly needed.

<div>He spent his 30th birthday (2025) in a psychiatric ward, which says a lot about how long he has been fighting in silence. This was also the first time Emil attempted to take his own life — a young man with his whole life ahead of him.

<div>Then it happened again, this time with a real risk that he might not survive. Since March 5, 2026, Emil is still receiving hospital care and is facing a long road to recovery, both physically and mentally.
</div>
<div>The situation has also led to significant financial strain, as he has been unable to work with what he is passionate about for a long time and has missed bills due to his mental health struggles, making recovery even more difficult.

<div>This fundraiser is meant to give him a chance to rebuild his life step by step — for example, support in his recovery, the opportunity to get away, spend time in nature, and regain energy and joy in life.

<div>The funds raised will go towards rent for his apartment and other living costs during this time where he is still at the hospital recovering.

<div>Emil is a warm, caring, and skilled person, a trained electrician, with so much left to give to the world. Right now, he needs time, safety, and the right professional support to recover and find his way again.

<div>But perhaps most importantly: to show him that he is not alone. That he is needed, appreciated, and important in this world.
</div>
