<div>We are calling for donations for our beloved Pham Thi <strong>Bich Ngoc</strong>. She is from Arizona, but she came to Vancouver to visit her family and friends, and has been hospitalized for a stroke caused by bleeding in her brain. Because the wound that caused the bleeding is so deep inside, doctors and neurologists could not fix it through an operation but decided to leave her for self-recovery. Ngoc does not have health insurance in Canada, <strong>and that causes the hospital bills to rise by thousands of dollars every day.</strong> We don't know when Ngoc will be discharged.

<div>Ngoc had always been the main breadwinner for the family before the tragedy. Ngoc’s dad is now in Vancouver to take care of her, and her mom has been suffering from cancer for over a year already. With that, their family's income remains unstable every day.
