My name is Eloise and I am 14 years old, in eighth grade. In my social studies class, we are working on community service each quarter. Los Angeles just went through so many losses of people, houses, pets, and more due to the wildfires. So many firefighters have risked their lives and worked so hard to put the fires out, to save property, and to save lives. Beyond this, they work to save lives and help people every day.

My step-dad is a firefighter for the LAFD and worked during the fires. Recently, my step-dad moved to FS 36, and they cook and eat together during their shifts when they are working 24 hours a day.

For my community service hours, I would like to fundraise to buy them cooking appliances that they can use to cook with, to say thank you for all of their hard work.

I would like to supply them with an Instant Pot Pro Crisp, as it will be big enough for the station to slow cook their meals in case they get called out during dinner time. It will keep their meals warm for them for when they get back. It also has other uses that could make dinner time more exciting and healthy for them, like an air fryer.

If I go over my goal, I will purchase extra accessories for the Instant Pot.

All extra proceeds will be donated directly to the Widows, Orphans and Disabled Firefighters Fund to directly help those in need.
