Dear friends, family, and compassionate hearts, I am reaching out to share the story of my niece who is facing a challenging time following a full hip replacement surgery she had earlier on 10/15/24. Ellen’s doctors estimate her recovery time will take 8- 12 weeks, during which she will be unable to work. This will pose challenges keeping up with her bills and daily expenses, particularly since she also cares for her youngest daughter and her sick mother.

Ellen is a bright light full of love, compassion, and humor even in the face of numerous challenges. She devotes much of her time taking care of others. I am hoping we can unite and ease some of the financial stress, allowing her to focus on healing and getting back on her feet, pain-free, so she can continue caring for her mother.

I am launching this GoFundMe to raise funds for essential expenses like rent, utilities, and medical bills. Every contribution, no matter how small, will have a meaningful impact. Ellen is relied upon by many, and it breaks my heart to see her worrying when she needs to focus on her healing.
