Hello, my name is Mila and I am working with Milly, my best friend, to fundraise $35,000. We are working with the nonprofit organization Build On. With the money that we raise, we will go to Malawi, Africa, and work to build a school.

Right now, the children in Malawi are under a tree, hiding from the harsh conditions of the blazing sun and heavy rains while still trying to learn. We will be in Malawi for a week, spending long hours in extreme heat, working side-by-side with the local community to help build a school for these kids. My end goal is to give the children in Malawi the opportunity and learning environment where they can learn and grow. I am passionate about this project because I believe access to education should not depend on where someone is born. Education for these kids is the pathway to new knowledge, new opportunities, and creates lasting change.
