<div>I don’t even know how to begin writing this, but unfortunately, my family is now facing something we never expected. My name is Luna Cedeno, and I’m creating this GoFundMe to ask for help supporting my dad, <strong>Eduardo Cedeno</strong>, as he begins his fight against cancer. He is a loving father and husband, a hardworking man, and an excellent chef and musician.

<div>For the past couple of weeks, my dad had been dealing with severe, debilitating pain. A few days ago, he went to the emergency room to seek help. That is when doctors discovered that a lymphoma was causing his symptoms, and our family received the distressing news that my dad has been diagnosed with cancer—more specifically, <strong>lymphoma of the intra-abdominal lymph nodes.</strong>

<div>This diagnosis came suddenly, and everything has changed in a matter of days. My dad is not feeling well at all. Many of his lymph nodes—including those in his neck, armpits, abdomen, and groin—are extremely swollen and painful. He has already required multiple hospital visits as doctors work to determine the best course of treatment, and we are currently waiting for biopsy results to determine the stage of his lymphoma.

<div>The first two hospital visits alone have been overwhelmingly expensive, especially because my dad does not have health insurance. The costs are adding up faster than we ever imagined, and this is only the beginning of what we know will be a long and difficult road.

<div>Right now, our focus should be on my dad’s health, comfort, and recovery—but the financial strain has become an immediate and heavy burden. Medical bills, testing, treatments, medications, and hospital care are more than we can manage on our own.
