MDS is a type of cancer that damages some of the blood-forming cells in the bone marrow, leading to low counts of one or more types of blood cells. This condition is serious and requires extensive treatment and care.

<div>Throughout his life, Ed has been a source of strength and positivity for everyone around him. His contributions to the swimming community, both at the club and college levels, have been immense. Ed has coached and mentored countless swimmers, helping them to achieve their personal bests and fostering a love for the sport. His guidance has not only improved their athletic performance but has also shaped their character and determination.

<div>Now, it is our turn to support Ed in his time of need. In the near future, Ed will have to relocate to Denver to start a transplant process and be in isolation for an extended period of time.
