<div>Hello, my name is Priscilla. <strong>This fundraiser is on behalf of my sister and brother-in-law, Eddie.</strong> On May 29th, 2024, Eddie went to get a check-up due to having vision problems, dizziness, and seizures. After undergoing many different tests, MRIs, and CT scans, the doctors discovered a brain tumor the size of an orange.

<div>His exact diagnosis is IDH mutant- Astrocytoma Grade 3.

<div>On June 3rd, Eddie underwent a major brain surgery to try and dissect the tumor. The surgery went well and the neurosurgeon was able to remove 98% of it. However, he will need radiation and chemotherapy to target the rest of the tumor as part of it was in sensitive parts of the brain. Treatment will hopefully prolong his life and stop it from recurring.  Eddie is only 30 years old and needs our support more than ever.

<div>Eddie and Maggie got married in January 2024, and are expecting their first child in July 2024. They have both worked tirelessly for their future and to provide the best life for their soon-to-be-born miracle baby.

<div>Eddie is a husband, son, friend, brother and soon-to-be father. He lights up a room and is the happiest person you'll meet.
</div>
<div>Despite all the hardships he has faced since diagnosis, Eddie remains the strongest person I know.
</div>

<div><strong>As Eddie works through his treatment in the next coming months, we kindly ask for your support in helping ease the financial burden this kind of diagnosis brings.</strong> Given that the costs of radiation, chemotherapy, and concurrent healing modalities are immense, any amount you can give will be greatly appreciated. The funds will be used for hospital bills, surgeries, treatment, and living costs as they navigate their new reality as well as becoming parents whilst going through treatment. To know Eddie is to love him, and he deserves all the help he can get. It is incredibly hard to ask for help but it also takes a lot of courage to do so.
