Help us raise funds for the launch of the Wilmington Street Medic Collective!
The goals of the collective are to...
- Educate and empower individuals to act in their own communities, as well as in a collective to help those that have fallen through the cracks of the exploitative American healthcare system.
- Offer free education to the broader public to learn basic life savings skills like First Aid and Stop The Bleed.
- Be a trusted presence in our community during events like climate crises, protests, or even just sporting events.
The launch of the collective will be a 20 hour intensive street medic training. For this training we plan to feed the attendees, support the trainers, and buy enough equipment that each attendee can leave the training with the materials they will need to be effective street medics.
Our base goal is $3000, but any extra would go toward more training material to be used for the community of Wilmington.
