<div>Dear Friends, Family, and Community,
</div>
<div>We are reaching out during a time of crisis something we never imagined we'd have to do.
</div>
<div>After nearly five years of operating our business with integrity, we’ve been hit with a devastating and unexpected issue. LADWP (Los Angeles Department of Water and Power) has accused us of meter tampering something we absolutely did not do and would never even consider doing. We were shocked when we received this accusation, along with a massive bill. Not only have we never tampered with the meter, but we also have no access or keys to even reach the areas in question. The wiring in the meter has been untouched since we took over the space, and now, years later, this issue has suddenly come to light. Since learning of this, we’ve been doing everything we can to understand and resolve the situation. We’ve asked for answers, sought legal guidance, and tried to work with LADWP. Unfortunately, instead of support or clarity, our electricity has been shut off, making it impossible to operate our business and serve our community. This has had a devastating impact on us financially, emotionally, and operationally.
</div>
<div>We are now raising funds to:
</div>
<div>•Seek legal assistance to fight this unjust accusation
</div>
<div>•Cover essential bills and expenses while we are unable to fully operate
</div>
<div>•Keep our business afloat as we work to resolve this issue
</div>
<div>This situation has blindsided us, and we are truly heartbroken. But we are not giving up, we are standing up for our business. If you can donate, no amount is too small. If you can't donate, we deeply appreciate you sharing this with others who may be able to help.
</div>
<div>Thank you for reading, supporting, and standing with us in this difficult time.
</div>
<div>With gratitude,
</div>
