Hi, my name is Dustin Oglesby, I am in Troop 599 out of MDUMC. I have been in scouts since 1st grade. I have enjoyed my time in scouts and have really grown into the person I am from being in this program. I have been to Philmont, Seabase and other out of state summer camps with my troop. I am the current SPL (senior patrol leader) of our troop and am currently working on my Eagle Project.

Nottingham Forest Club plays an important role in my scouting career. When I joined this troop in February of 2020, we soon went into covid lock down. When we finally were able to stop zoom meetings and were able to meet in person, Nottingham Forest Club agreed to let us meet out in front of their club house. I really enjoyed and miss the uniqueness of those meetings. That's why I am excited to replace and paint the deck boards, railings and benches to the left of the tennis courts at Nottingham Forest Club.

When I am not doing scouts, I am in FFA and on the wildlife team and did really well this year. I am also in Welding at my high school and made state with my doors that I welded. I am also on a high school fishing team and have just placed 4th in my division and am headed to regionals at the end of this month.
