As an OB/GYN, surgeon and community organizer, she has spent her life delivering babies, saving lives, and caring for others—whether as a frontline emergency doctor or through her tireless dedication to her private practice patients.

<div>The devastating wildfires currently raging through Southern California have completely destroyed their home in Altadena. Dr. Rashida, her partner, and their two young children (ages 4 and 11) barely escaped with their lives. They lost everything—clothes, personal belongings, and the place they’ve called home.

<div>Even as she faces this unimaginable loss, Dr. Rashida remains on 24hr call at the hospital, delivering emergency OBGYN care. It’s a testament to her incredible strength and commitment, but it’s clear that she and her family need a community to rally around them now.
