<div>Hello ,my friends, I am Dr. Ahmed Shabat, a medical doctor from Gaza. I graduated from my university and obtained a bachelor's degree in the Faculty of Medicine in 2022 and completed the internship period in 2023. I was living a quiet and happy life full of hope, ambitions and a lot of passion, ambition to complete my educational career and travel and obtain specialization in my medical fields, but everything has stopped since the beginning of this genocide, Where I had to leave my house with my family from the first day of this massacre because of the continuous and violent bombing, and after a short time we learned that our only house was completely destroyed and all my childhood memories and all our beautiful memories went with him, i miss my home, normal life and my small accomplishment, I had to be displaced several times because of the heavy bombing, extreme fear and death everywhere.

<div>We did not know where to go because there is no safety at all , but in the end we decided to build a tent in the southern Gaza Strip. At the present time, I live in a small tent, and the situation here is very bad, there is no minimum elements of life, there is no healthy water, no electricity, no fuel, no clothes, no cleaning tools, not even a mattress on which we sleep. You can't imagine this hell at all, there are no words to describe this place we go to sleep, we really sleep in the street, on the sand, under the biting heat and insects and reptiles.. It's unimaginable, when I try to sleep I remember my room and my privacy, I used to have a large room full of my things, books, clothes and soft clean bedding, now I don't find room for anything, here where there is no place for anything at all.

<div>Also I can't talk about tents without mentioning thefts, yes I have been robbed before, they steal anything you might own and make money for themselves, we sleep in tents afraid and terrified of the bombing at all times and places, of the insects, the heat and also the fear of thefts and thieves who might put your life in danger just to steal and get anything they can benefit from!

<div>we have to set fire to cook anything and we have to bring water from long distances, in addition to the poor health situation and the spread of many diseases such as intestinal infections, pneumoniaes and skin diseases. Despite that, I decided to volunteer in the hospital, especially in the emergency department, and to work constantly in helping patients. From that time until now, I am still a volunteer and exert a high effort in treating patients, and all this is without a financial return, I also volunteered in many medical points in an attempt to help the largest number of people and reduce many rapidly spreading diseases such as skin diseases, intestinal infections and respiratory infections, and all this was also without a financial return.
