Hello everyone . My name is Dontrae Banks, and I am a 29-year-old single father of three beautiful daughters.
In November 2024, I was diagnosed with end-stage kidney failure and heart failure. I had no symptoms until November 19, 2024. My daughter found me on the bathroom floor, gasping for air, so I was rushed to the hospital. Doctors determined I had pulmonary edema caused by heart failure. When my labs came back my eGFR was at 6, indicating end-stage kidney failure.
My condition is getting worse by the day. Now i'm experiencing random seizures, not frequently, but often. Waking up in the hospital after a random seizure is terrifying like seriously.
I still do currently work, but I'm only working 10-15 hours a week because of my condition. And sometimes i can't work at all because of the seizure... Between working, having random seizures, and undergoing dialysis, I feel miserable.. But im trying to stay strong for my girls... I'm asking the world for help; I just need a little support for my girls.
I was seeing if anyone could lend a hand. I don't need anything big; it could be a dollar or thirty-five cents. Anything will help. Even if you can't donate, that's completely fine; i even will take clothes and shoes.
The funds will be use for clothes, pamper, milk, food, utilities bill, medical bills, and for my prescription medication. And also for transportation. And to be honest most of it will go on my life insurance policy. Just to be blunt about it.
Personal goals
My goal in life is to be a manga writer
My oldest daughter goal is to be an artist
My middle daughter wants to be a princess lol... And my baby daughter can't talk just yet but she can do hands gestures lol. I'll post some of my daughter artwork.
Kidney failure awareness: Sometimes there are no symptoms at all, and sometimes there are. If you are having constant lower back pain, it can be a sign of a kidney issue. Additionally, foamy urine can indicate kidney damage. Please get checked before your condition worsens..
