<div>Donna has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and is currently undergoing preliminary chemotherapy close to home. In the coming months, her treatment will require a highly specialized and very serious surgery in New York City. This surgery comes with the need to remain in NYC for at least a month afterward for intensive physician monitoring and follow-up care.

<div>During this time, Donna will be relying on reduced disability income, and her newly married husband, Paul, will need to take an extended leave from work — unpaid — in order to be by her side. Between travel, housing, medical expenses, and daily living costs, the financial burden is overwhelming and far beyond what they can manage alone.
