Help Don Coufal Battle Cancer

In February, our Dad, Don Coufal, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer - rectal cancer, that had spread to the liver. 

The prognosis was disheartening. While his symptoms are treatable, doctors do not believe the cancer itself is curable. And yet, throughout the experience, Dad has maintained a strong and positive outlook. He is doing his research, working hard to eat healthy, and trying to keep his mind active and engaged on other things.

One issue that has been weighing on Dad is finances. The financial burden of a cancer diagnosis, coupled with the fact that he won't be able to work for the foreseeable future, has interrupted his retirement plans and placed a great deal of stress on his shoulders.

We want Dad to be able to stay calm and positive so he can focus on healing. In that light, we are reaching out to Dad's friends, family, and colleagues for support. Anything we raise will help cover his living expenses so he can stay financially afloat while he is out of work.
