Hi, my name is Dominique. On 7/16/25, my life changed in an instant after a seizure-related car accident. What started as a terrifying medical emergency has since led to a diagnosis of epilepsy and a complete disruption of my normal life.

Since then, I’ve been dealing with unpredictable seizures, ongoing neurological testing, and constant uncertainty about my health. I’ve had to step away from work and daily responsibilities because I can no longer safely function the way I used to. I am currently on medical leave while doctors continue extensive testing, including EEG monitoring, to understand my condition and find the right treatment plan.

This has not only been physically and emotionally exhausting, it has also created a sudden financial crisis. Without income, I’m struggling to cover rent, medical expenses, transportation, and basic needs while I try to focus on staying stable and getting answers.

I never imagined I would be in a position where I needed to ask for help like this, but I am truly trying to hold myself together while my health and life are being rebuilt from the ground up.
