Title: Disabled Veteran Family Loses Everything in House Fire – Please Help

Story:

On June 10, 2025, around 2:30 PM, a lightning strike caused a devastating fire that completely destroyed our home. We—James Stewart and Krystle Hoffmann, both disabled veterans—have lost everything.

Our family home, all of our belongings, clothes, hygiene items, our children’s toys and gaming systems, and irreplaceable mementos are gone. We were also in the process of remodeling, trying to improve our living space when this tragedy hit.

Thankfully, all of us made it out safely:

Bill, a senior disabled Vietnam veteran we care for

Trey, a close family friend staying with us

But our hearts are broken—we lost 3 beloved cats who were part of our family:

Midnight, Ember, and Tarkov

And our son's bearded dragon
