I'm a 100% totally disabled veteran that did 30 years in the military. I'm on a fixed income with my VA check and my SSD, and I got scammed out of my life savings of a significant amount of money. Since I was scammed out of my life savings, I'm now having bounced checks and overdraft fees added onto the checks that I made out for paying my bills. I even have bank drafts coming out of my account for house payments and other bills that are being returned because I didn't have the money to cover them since I was scammed.

I've contacted the FBI, Federal Trade Commission, the Adjutant General's Office, and the police department, which I now have case numbers for, and they are looking into this matter of being scammed. But they said that getting the funds that I was scammed out of may not be recovered. They also said that these scammers know how to scam elderly people out of their life savings and make everything sound so real, especially when they say that they're from the federal government.
