<div>Digna is my beloved grandmother, and she means the world to me. At 85 years old, she has always been a shining example of kindness, faith, and generosity. She raised me with unconditional love, treating me as one of her own children, and has spent her life caring for others and living as a devoted Christian. Her gentle spirit and willingness to help those in need have touched so many lives, and now she needs our help more than ever.

<div>Desde 2023, mi abuelita Digna ha estado luchando valientemente contra el cáncer. Se sometió a una primera cirugía para extirpar un tumor canceroso en la vejiga, pero apenas ocho meses después, el tumor regresó y tuvo que enfrentar otra operación muy dura. Más recientemente, el 21 de diciembre de 2025, pasó por una tercera cirugía, y ahora lleva una bolsa de colostomía.

<div>Este camino ha sido inmensamente doloroso: tuvo que dejar su querido pueblo y viajar a la ciudad para recibir el tratamiento que su vida requiere.

<div>Since 2023, Digna has been bravely battling cancer. She underwent her first surgery to remove a tumorous cancer in her bladder, but just eight months later, the tumor returned, and she faced another difficult surgery. 
</div>

<div>Most recently, on 12/21/2025, Digna had to undergo yet another surgery, and now she has a colostomy bag. The journey has not been easy—she had to leave her hometown and travel to the city to receive the treatment she needs. Despite these challenges, Digna’s resilience, strength, and unwavering faith have been a source of inspiration for our entire family.

<div>Estamos haciendo absolutamente todo lo que está en nuestras manos para acompañarla y cuidarla, pero los gastos médicos, los tratamientos continuos, el cuidado diario, los viajes y ahora todo lo que implica la atención de la colostomía se han vuelto una carga abrumadora que nos supera. Tu ayuda, por pequeña que parezca, marcará una diferencia real y profunda en la vida de Digna, permitiéndole seguir luchando con dignidad y dándonos la esperanza de tenerla con nosotros muchos años más.
