Hi, my name is Diamond, and I’m 24 years old. I live with a brain tumor and seizures, which first started when I was in high school. Since then, my life has never been the same. In May 2025, I was officially diagnosed with a brain tumor, which they informed me was a cause to my seizures and would prevent me from being able to have children in the future. Based from my results The tumor is located near my pituitary region of my brain and is not cancerous so it will not spread to other regions of my brain but will still grow over time without treatment. Ever since being diagnosed I’ve been on multiple medications as well as being in and out of hospitals and doctor visits.

Because of my condition, I’ve lost the ability to work and drive, and it often feels like I no longer have control over my own body. The medications I take are meant to shrink my tumor and manage seizures, but they also cause painful side effects that I deal with almost daily. I have an additional MRI scheduled for December of 2025 to check the progress of my tumor but due to recently beginning to have seizures in my sleep my fear has multiplied and my health has become more dangerous for me. As a young adult it is very difficult for me to not be able to care for myself and have to have someone constantly keeping an eye on me, Not only has my condition affected my physical health but it also greatly has affected my mental health. My biggest hope is to receive the surgery to remove my tumor and finally have a chance at getting my life back. Asking for help is not easy for me, but right now, it is the only way I see to move forward and regain control of my health and future.
