<div>Recently, my life took an unexpected turn. Due to a critical health emergency involving my daughter, I had to leave my secondary income jobs to become her caregiver outside of my residency hours. This choice, made out of love, has placed us in major financial hardship, and we are now facing eviction from our home.

<div>We are turning to our community for support—to help us stay housed and continue the path to stability.

<div>The Chaplain
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As a chaplain, I am present during the hardest moments in people’s lives.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>When families lose a loved one, I sit with them in their grief. When someone suffers trauma or tragedy, I walk beside them—offering compassion, support, and a listening ear.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This work is more than a job. It is my calling. I serve others with my heart, especially in times of crisis.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Currently, I am completing my chaplain residency and will graduate in January, which will enable me to transition into a full-time salaried chaplain role. This will restore financial stability—but until then, we need help to make it through the challenges of monthly expenses.
</div>

<div>Aja’s Injury
</div>

<div>My daughter, Aja, is 29 years old—brilliant, creative, and full of light. She graduated from Full Sail University with a degree in film and video and was working three jobs to pursue her career.
</div>

</div>
<div>Then, out of nowhere, tragedy struck.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Aja suffered a ruptured Chiari Malformation—a rare and critical condition at the base of her brain. She required emergency surgery involving her brain, neck, and spine.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Since then, Aja has been disabled and unable to work. Her healing journey is long and difficult. As her mother and primary support, I had to be fully present for her.
</div>
