 Hello, my name is Devante. I am currently dealing with the worst time in my life. I honestly would never be the person to ask anyone for help, but I literally have nowhere else to turn, so here is my story.

 My mother passed away after a brutal battle with 3rd stage lung cancer and 4th stage brain cancer and being the oldest son, I felt responsible for paying for her funeral and cremation costs, etc. After dealing with the passing of my mother, I lost my job and have been financially struggling since.

 <strong>I am now homeless, staying out of my car, and every day that goes by just makes it harder to get back into the swing of life and get a good job.</strong> I unfortunately have no family that can help me. I have been alone and on my own since my mother passed. I am also supposed to be starting college again August 31st, 2026, and now I don't know if I can even go to college.

 I really don’t want to beg people on the streets and just wish to be a contributing citizen in society again. If anyone can help me get back on my feet, I would be infinitely grateful.
