My name is Amelia and I'm making this page to help my mother. Over 20 years ago she fell in love with an amazing man, Robert Corcoran. A retired marine and postal service worker whom quickly became and took on the role of loving spouse and step father to me. He was more than that, in every sense of the word he was my dad. When i had my daughter Destiny 15 years ago he was even present in the delivery room and has been present as "poppop" everyday since. He did everything he could for this family. He didn't let being diagnosed with copd or other medical issues stop him from living life the way he wanted. Unfortunately, 2 nights ago on February 8th, 2025 Robert passed away in his sleep due to health issues. Leaving his loved ones devastated. As you can imagine, my mother is beside herself in despair and on a fixed income overwhelmed with the costs of giving him the final goodbye that he deserves. I am asking for help to ensure that Robert is honored properly and try to lighten some of the load from my mother. Any and everything is appreciated. Thank you so much in advance for the support.
