On 07/26/2025, Destiny’s apartment caught fire, leaving all her belongings and possessions ruined by fire or smoke damage. Her dogs, Taquito (pictured) and Max, were rescued by the firefighters of South Hills. Taquito has been ill since having smoke inhalation and needs vet treatment. Although Destiny is receiving help from renter's insurance and the fire department, she is asking for assistance from the community to help with Taquito’s vet bills, medication, and food.
