I have set up this fundraising page on behalf of Desiree and her family.

On Tuesday, May 30th, Desiree suffered a seizure in her home and was rushed to the hospital. After several tests, the doctors found a 6cm cancerous terminal tumor on her brain. In the months leading up to this discovery, Desiree had been suffering from memory loss and confusion but she thought it was a lingering symptom from when she had COVID. Boy, was she wrong!!!

The doctors were able to remove 35-40% of the tumor to relieve some of the pressure. Right now, she currently can not feel the left side of her body, even though she's able to move her arm and wiggle her toes and fingers. We are hopeful that the feeling will come back soon. Once she leaves the hospital, she will be transported to a nursing facility for more physical therapy and the start of her radiation/chemo treatments.

As you can imagine, this sudden diagnosis is taking an unbelievable emotional and financial toll on Desi and her family of caregivers. Those who know Desi, realizes that she hates that we are setting up this GoFundMe page, but we need your help. We are asking for your help in alleviating some of the financial burdens that come with fighting cancer. Any donations and support are so very much appreciated!
