As many of you know, our little honey badger, Desi (Desiree Luft) was rear ended on her motorcycle by a large truck on Thursday, May 9, 2024. She suffered multiple traumas including broken bones, damaged organs and brain bleeds. She is currently in the ICU sedated and on a ventilator.

Desi is a FIGHTER! She is fighting every day and showing signs of improvement. She had her first surgery on Sunday to begin repairing the damage to her pelvis and the surgery went well. She will go in again today for a procedure on her kidney.

Desi’s recovery will take time. But she is the strongest most determined woman I know and she will fight each day to make progress. She has three sons, a husband that loves her dearly and family and friend that are wrapping their arms around her in prayer and love.

The goal for this go fund me is to provide some financial relief for the family while Chris is off work caring for her and to offset the medical bills that will come.
