<div>On Monday 9/22/25, both my mom and dad were ordered their removal towards Mexico. In other words, they will be getting deported, leaving their community and home of San Diego, where they have resided for nearly thirty years. This has been an over eight year long journey from when they were first detained in May 23, 2017, navigating cancelling their deportation, and although this was not the decision we wanted, we can finally conclude this chapter in all our lives.

<div>This money will be used to help my parents transition into their new life in Mexico, specifically Tijuana. Currently my two oldest brothers are working and have always supported my parents and themselves. My sister and I are currently college students, attending Stanford University and Harvey Mudd College (I al currently on a leave and will return next fall) . Anything helps, thank you and God bless ❤️

<div>UPDATE: I can't even begin to comprehend the overwhelming outpouring of support and love via kind words, offers of help, and donations, which I would have never imagined, especially via TikTok and the community. God bless ❤️❤️❤️

<div>My dad asked me to make this video for his San Diego community due to the sheer amount of people that he came to know as a paletero. My mom, who is also being deported, will be giving her own goodbyes to her community in-person.

<div>To anyone who ever bought ice cream from my dad, gave him words of encouragement or just said hello, to those who became his friends, his family, su gente y su pueblo:

</div>

<div>thank you. God bless ❤️
