Hello, my name is Dan Churchill, and I am reaching out to ask for your support for my soulmate, the most unselfish and giving person you could ever know. Denise Brewer, who is currently recovering from a series of critical brain surgeries. 

Denise and I have been together for 36 awesome years of loving, laughing and living. We've built our lives together, including running our homebased flooring installation business for the past 22 years. Recently, our world was turned upside down when Denise was diagnosed with a 19mm (3/4") basilar stem aneurysm after she fell and a brain scan revealed the condition. 
 
Denise has bravely undergone three major brain surgeries by DR. Matthew Koch and his team: 
 
• Surgery #1: To place coils in the aneurysm. 
 
• Surgery #2: To insert a permanent shunt for draining excess fluid. 
 
• Surgery #3: To place a stent and additional coils. This surgery had some complications, very low sodium levels which required an additional 9 day stay and extreme jumps in blood pressure from the low 100's to the high 200's. Denise is currently suffering from shooting pains in her head, short term memory loss and delirium. 
 
These procedures have been lifesaving but also incredibly challenging, both emotionally and financially. 
 
As Denise embarks on her road to recovery, she needs my constant support and care. Unfortunately, this means I am unable to work, leaving us without an income to cover our basic expenses. We are facing the following immediate financial needs: 
 
• Medical expenses: $47,348 not covered by insurance. 
 
• Past due and upcoming bills: $17,109 
 
Your contribution will help us cover these overwhelming expenses and prevent us from falling into financial a hardship. It will ensure that Denise has the support she needs to recover without the added stress of financial insecurity. Your support will directly go towards: 
 
• Paying medical bills. 
 
• Covering utilities, mortgage, and vehicle payment, 2.5 hour travel to and from UF Shands Neurosurgery Neuromedical hospital. 
 
• Managing unforeseen medical and living expenses during her recovery.
