Donate: Dejiza Coleman's Recovery

Donation protected
Dejiza Coleman, mother of two and a college student, was shot by an intruder in her home  on Thursday, September 13th. Her beloved  5-year-old daughter, Isabella (Izzy), was killed in the shooting.

Dejiza, miraculously, survived and is recovering at Sinai Grace Hospital.

We know that Dejiza, her son Brayden, her mother, and her family will need support and love moving forward. They will need time to grieve, lay Izzy to rest, heal Dejiza's body, and begin the journey of processing the trauma of this event.

In the weeks to come they will need the entire community to wrap their arms around them.  They will also need to pay medical bills, find housing, and be connected with services to support them on this journey.  Dejiza will need as much time as possible to heal physically and begin to process a life without Izzy.

Our goal is to raise 10K+ so Dejiza  can focus on grieving and healing.

The Coleman family are beloved members of the Brightmoor Community and City Covenant Church.

The church is helping to coordinate support for the family.

We are asking for monetary donations and referrals to services to support the family in this time of need.
