Support Deepak Gautam with Kidney Transplant

Deepak Gautam, son of Kashi and Maya Gautam, a young 26 years old local Houstonian Nepali is undergoing Kidney transplant and needs our financial support for his treatment and recovery. Deepak was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease Stage 5 back in July 2018. After multiple doctor visits and tests, they found that both of his kidneys were failing at an alarming rate. He was diagnosed to have Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis Disease (FSGS). FSGS is a rare disease that attacks the kidney’s filtering units (glomeruli) causing serious scarring which leads to permanent kidney damage and even failure.

Deepak has been battling with the disease since 2018 and his only hope is to get a kidney transplant. After going through several hurdles over the years including, a severe infection of the Peritoneal cavity he is now ready to get a transplant. Deepak is one of the most hardworking, helpfully, and passionate person you will ever meet and he needs our help to cover the cost of the surgery and medical bills.

Nepalese Association of Houston (NAH) is leading the effort to raise funds for Deepak's kidney transplant and recovery. The proceeds from this fundraiser will be handed over to Deepak and his family. NAH would like to thank everyone for supporting a fellow Houstonian Nepali family during their time of need.
