Hi! We are Decatur High School HOSA, and we are a new medical club that provides students at our school with a way to explore their interests and learn about the medical field! Our school has a very limited amount of career exploration, especially in the medical field. This year, we started this club, and we are working to fix this!

One of the most important ways we do this is by providing students with an opportunity to go to medical competitions, which give them real-life experiences where they can learn and adapt to medical situations. We are aiming to go to the State Leadership Conference (SLC) this year in March, but many of our students are struggling with the expensive fees that come with this competition. Registration, lodging, uniforms… this all adds up to hundreds of dollars per student! Creating this GoFundMe, we hope to help relieve some of these costs for our hardworking members.
