<div>My name is Kristine, and I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of my amazing mother, Deb (Kadlec) Anderson. Recently, my mom was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colorectal Cancer.

<div>Mid-January she had colon resection surgery. She is currently recovering and will continue to do so for several upcoming weeks. Unfortunately, several lymph nodes tested positive for cancer. Next on the agenda is an insertion of a port for her chemotherapy treatments. She will receive chemotherapy every two weeks for six months starting in February.

<div>Since starting this long unforeseen journey she has had to put a hold on her career. As my mom navigates the unknown timeline of her return to work, she still is prioritizing her role as “mom”, especially to my two younger sisters. Trying to keep life as “normal” as possible for them right now. Experiencing a heavy load of medical expenses very rapidly has made focusing entirely on the highest priority of getting her back to her cancer-free, healthy self difficult.

<div>She was reluctant at first to have a page made for her, as most of you know, it is not like mom to ask for help. She is strong and always has been very independent, however, our family is in need of help. Contributions will assist in upcoming bills, transportation and basic needs.
