In March 2025, I received the life-changing diagnosis of ovarian cancer. The months since then have been filled with challenges, including surgery to remove the mass and starting chemotherapy treatments in April. One of the hardest parts of this journey has been losing my hair due to the chemo. It’s a daily reminder of what I’m going through, and it has affected my confidence and sense of self.

I am currently working part time, but the financial strain of treatment has been difficult. My insurance does not cover the cost of a wig, and a nice quality, professionally fitted wig would make a huge difference for me. It would help me feel more like myself and give me the confidence to face each day, whether I’m at work or spending time with loved ones.
