Dear Family and Friends. My name is Rachel Priest and these are my parents Debbie and Glenn, whom many of you know.

Last week, my family fell victim to senior wire fraud and lost over $100,000 from their savings/retirement banks through coercion tactics and bank security impersonation. My parents have recently retired and this money was directly going towards retirement and healthcare costs for the remainder of their life's expenses. The criminals involved moved their funds into crypto currency and there is no way to recover these funds. While we are working with the FBI and Secret Service to try and bring the criminals to justice, we understand they will not receive back their retirement savings.

As many of you know, over the years my parents have extended their home, finances, and sheltered many in need and have always taken care of their community. Now, with a heavy heart, I ask if you have any means to spare, to donate anything you can to support them in their time of need and fear.

Fraud Criminals, and especially those attacking Senior Citizens, are becoming ever more prevalent and invasive, affecting an entire family not just an individual. Anyone and everyone can fall prey to these attacks so please remain vigilant through your personal and family's accounts/passwords and always report any suspicious behavior.

On behalf of myself and sibling Ben (not pictured here), we thank you for anything you can spare to help our parents. If we reach our goal, I will be donating any excess funds received to local South Carolina senior citizen support centers and criminal justice organizations to help others who have suffered through a similar attack.
