Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-Hearted Strangers,

It is with a heavy heart and hopeful spirit that we reach out to you today. My wonderful husband, Dean, has recently been diagnosed with metastatic squamous cell carcinoma. As you can imagine, this news has been a devastating blow to our family, and we are rallying together to support Dean in his courageous fight against this relentless disease.

Dean has always been the heart and soul of our family. For over 35 years, he has dedicated himself to the art of baking, bringing joy and delicious treats to so many. His warm, welcoming smile and passion for his craft have made him a beloved figure in our community. Whether he's whipping up a batch of bread or sharing a hearty meal, Dean's generosity and love shine through every dish he creates.

When he's not baking, you can find Dean at the grill, perfecting his barbecue skills and creating mouthwatering meals for family gatherings and friends. His love for grilling is matched only by his love for the people in his life. Dean is known for his fun-loving spirit and unwavering loyalty, always putting others before himself and lighting up every room he enters with his infectious laughter.

As we navigate this challenging chapter, Dean's treatment will require significant medical attention and resources. We are facing an uphill battle, but we know that with your support, Dean can find the strength to overcome this obstacle. The financial burden of his treatment is overwhelming, and we are reaching out to our community to help ease this burden so that Dean can focus on what matters most: his recovery and spending precious time with his loved ones.

Dean's journey is not just about medical procedures and hospital visits; it’s about the love and support of those who care about him. We are grateful for every prayer, every encouraging word, and every bit of assistance. Your generosity will not only help cover the costs of his treatment but will also provide us with the hope and strength we need to keep moving forward.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your kindness and support during this difficult time. Together, we can help Dean fight this battle with the courage and determination that defines him.

Please consider donating to Dean’s fund, and share this story with your friends and family. Every little bit helps, and your support means the world to us.

With deepest gratitude and hope,

Paula Maltby
