If you know Dea Baughman, you’ve been a recipient of her kindness, goodness & overall positivity towards all.

For the past 4 months, Dea has been fighting a courageous battle against breast cancer. On November 21st, she finished her last round of chemotherapy. But her journey has just begun. Dea is scheduled to get a double mastectomy followed by a course of radiation so she can beat this cancer and return to us as the vibrant, loving, dedicated mom / wife / friend / co-worker she is known to be.

Throughout this journey, Dea has been unable to work in the same way she did previously - creating a financial strain & additional stress. We as her friends cannot cure her cancer or make her treatments less terrible, but many of us can bless her & take a little bit of the burden off her while she is down & out.

Dea would never ask for assistance or even want to admit the financial burden cancer has brought on her family but we know it is there, lingering.

If you cannot give financially, please call or text encouragement. Ask if she is up for a porch visit. Even if you have not spoken to Dea in quite some time, it’s ok. She would love to know you care & are thinking of her. Oftentimes we can feel “out of sight, out of mind.” Let’s rally, remind her of how loved she is & get her to the finish line.
