Every year, perpetrators sexually abuse tens of thousands of U.S. children and teens. Nearly every minute, someone in the U.S. is sexually assaulted. Every nine minutes, that someone is a child. These experiences can leave lasting emotional, psychological, and physical scars. DC Empowering Children is a nonprofit organization empowering children, teens, and adults against sexual abuse using arts, counseling, and education with a main focus on Preventing Child Sexual Abuse!
