Hi! My name is Abrianna & I am raising funds for my daughter, Dawsyn to have a P-Pod chair. These chairs range right below $2,000, but with the adaptions & accessories it would be around $3,000. She currently is 4 years old & sits in a baby rocker & it is her favorite place to be but she is over the weight limit & they do not support her weight- we have been through several. She has a rattle monkey & zebra that hangs above her & she LOVES to grab & hit it. She has a lot of trouble sleeping at night & I truly believe the P-Pod will help with posture & possible pain due to severe scoliosis. Dawsyn has a genetic disorder, CDG type 2m, that prohibits her from being able to sit up on her own. She does not have many options for relaxing & we are hoping to expand her choices at home but of course when it comes to medical equipment & accessibility, it is severely overpriced.
