Support David’s Recovery After Brain Tumor Surgery

Hello everyone, David is my 16-year-old grandson. He has been in the hospital since January 4, 2026, after having a large brain tumor removed on January 5, 2026. David is a Junior at Burbank High School. He is in IB classes in all subjects at school. He plays guitar in Mariachi at school, and he has a small rock band called SEAGLASS, where he is the drummer.

You can read more about David on Ryan Wolf’s fb page:

Because of the many people who have prayed and continue to pray for him, David is doing a little better. He just started showing signs of improvement this past week. The week before last, he had 3 seizures in one day, and his mental state was rapidly deteriorating. Initially, doctors thought he had suffered a stroke, but with God’s Grace, doctors reversed that diagnosis to PRES-Posterior Reversible Encephalopathy Syndrome.

David is unable to talk due to his inability to swallow, and he faces another surgery soon. We are hopeful that he will be able to begin intense physical, occupational, and speech therapy, as well as radiation treatment, in the next few weeks.
Our family is worried and scared, but we are very grateful for all the prayers and support that have helped David pull through and begin to show signs of improvement.
David’s radiation treatments will be at University Medical Center. Unfortunately, the hospital does not offer transportation assistance for the family to and from UTMC and Christus Children’s Hospital. Doctors have told us that the road to recovery will be a long one.
We are struggling with medical expenses, rehabilitation, transportation, gas, parking, meals, and items that David needs for his rehabilitation.
Any support—whether it’s a donation, a share, or keeping him in your thoughts and prayers—means so much to our family. We’ve never found ourselves in a position where we’ve needed to ask for help, but now David needs the community's support. Please share this link so David knows he’s not alone. Thank you.
