<div>In October 2024, our beloved David (i.e. Dave, Chauncey, Davey) was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and began treatment just prior to his 38th birthday. David is a loving husband to his wonderful wife, Natalie, and a father to their two precious children, Dahlia and Bear.

<div>Their family is now navigating through a world of new challenges and obstacles, and they will need as much love, support, and assistance as we can give them!
</div>

</div>
<div>ALS is a devastating neurodegenerative disease that affects one’s motor neurons which results in a loss of muscle control and eventually leads to muscle paralysis and respiratory system failure. Although ALS currently has no known cure, there has been significant research which is continuously receiving funding and ongoing, and we are hoping and praying for a medical breakthrough.

<div>While Dave received this awful diagnosis at the young age of 37, the silver lining is that the younger a person is when diagnosed with ALS, for most cases, the slower the progression and so we're optimistic this is the case for Dave.
</div>

<div><strong><em>But David needs time and his family needs our support!</em></strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Due to ALS, David is no longer able to work either of his jobs to help support his family or help with any of his current and future medical needs. In addition to this financial strain, in the coming months and years, there will be costs and expenses for his <em>medications/therapies, medical equipment, in-home medical care, as well as potential accessibility renovations to their home</em>.

<div><strong>To aid them in this fight, we are asking for your support by donating to help lower the financial burden of fighting ALS for David and Natalie and their family. </strong>

<div>For as long as we have known them, David and Natalie have always been the kind of people to put others above themselves. Dave and Natalie are two of the sweetest, most sincere, down-to-earth people you could meet and have consistently been incredible friends to so many of us.
