My name is David, and I’m raising funds to support myself and my three-year-old son, Loki, as we work toward a more stable and secure future. I have been taking care of Loki on my own since our family fell apart. I work full time as a grocery associate, but with no family nearby and no access to government support, every day is a challenge. My income is stretched thin by student loans, credit card bills, and repayments for loans I took just to keep our utilities on and buy clothing for Loki. On top of that, I have to cover childcare, babysitters, and legal fees that have built up from ongoing family matters.

 Living in a rural town without a car or a driver’s license makes daily life even harder. I walk everywhere with Loki in his buggy, including picking him up from daycare after work. Transport is a constant struggle, and it limits my ability to find better work or give Loki more opportunities. Some weeks, I lose work hours due to court obligations, which makes it even harder to keep up with bills and essentials.

 My goal is to learn to drive, secure a better job with more family-friendly hours, and eventually move to a larger town or city where Loki can thrive in a supportive community.
