<div>Through his example, dad fostered in us compassionate hearts and a generous spirit. He was always willing to help someone out. And whether it was getting my mom her a bike at college, or biking with his kids to his favorite fishing hole, he saw the benefit and joy in riding a bicycle.

<div>Bikes can foster community, improve health and are an environmental-friendly and economical mode of transport. They can help vulnerable communities, those unable to afford a car or people in transition (e.g., seeking a job, returned veterans, etc.). They also are fun for both children and adults! Most of us remember the first time our parents taught us how to ride, or when we were gifted our first bike.

<div>We believe that bikes may not change the world but they can help someone in need in an unexpected way. And small changes matter. In these difficult times in our country people are struggling in many ways, including financially.
