<div>In May, 2025, Dave was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive type of Metastatic bladder cancer that has spread to the prostate.  It is not curable.

<div>Dave is undergoing a treatment that has been shown to to slow down the progression of the disease, and extend the life of patients for an average of 2 to 3 years.

<div>Chemotherapy takes a large toll, and Dave has been unable to work.  His wife Christine has been by his side every step of the way, but because of her caretaking duties, she has also had to cut back on her hours at work.
