Support Dave White

Dave passed from this life on Sunday, Oct 7th surrounded by loving family and friends.  The fund is now for helping Nicole with end of life expenses and the upcoming medical bills. 

I started this GoFundMe to help with medical and life expenses for Dave White.   Dave has been in the VA hospital intesive care unit in Chicago for the past 2 weeks.  He is in end-stage heart failure, and will soon be transfered to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for implantation of an LVAD (a device to help his heart pump and hopefully get back some quality of life).   This is going to require many more weeks in the hospital.  During this time, his lovely wife (and my soul sister) Nicole has been at his side.  Nicole is a dedicated nurse, but has been focusing all her time on Dave and has taken many days off work.  Dave and Nicole could use a little financial help over the next month to get through this.  And always, your prayers, love and support!

Dave has a big heart (literally and figuratively!).  He is a loving father who has raised many children, both biological and chosen.  He is a loving husband to Nicole White. He is a great friend to many.  He has served his community for many years as a paramedic, 9/11 First Responder, First Aid volunteer at Brushwood and Blue Heron, founding member of Herbal Educaiton, Inc.  He served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War.   This man has a big old heart of gold and deserves to live the rest of his life with the best quality possible.
