<div>About a month ago, my friend Dave and I both had a cold. While I recovered quickly, Dave's condition didn't improve. After several visits to the doctor, they initially suspected walking pneumonia and prescribed antibiotics. Unfortunately, the antibiotics didn't help so Dave went back to the doctor. They ended up doing further tests that revealed the devastating news that Dave has lung cancer.

<div>There are many unanswered questions right now and they are receiving more information everyday. Dave's next appointment is scheduled for May 28th. It's frustrating for him and Gabby to have to wait for a treatment plan.

<div>Dave is an incredibly good person and a dedicated worker. Dave and Gabby bought there first home in Everett last year, and it has been exciting starting this new chapter of their lives together. Unfortunately, over the past few weeks, Dave's health has deteriorated significantly, and he is now experiencing severe breathing difficulties. Last week, he had to take a leave of absence from work to focus on his health.

<div>The coming months are going to be incredibly challenging for Dave and Gabby, both emotionally and financially. We are reaching out to ask for your support to help ease their financial burden so they can focus entirely on Dave's treatment and recovery. With Dave out of work it will be stressful staying current on the mortgage all the bills that come with both life and healthcare. Any donation, no matter how small, will make a huge difference.
